Legit has the best Trump impersonation out there.

JAJ's Trump sometime hits hybrid mode with this dude:

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but who is that?

Nathan from South Park.
My ears often hear that dude in JAJ's Trump.

Watched the Chevy doc tonight. He certainly feels like he’s responsible for all the success SNL has had for 50+ years even tho he bailed on it after just one season.

Is Chase the Dave A of SNL?

It’s certainly telling that none of the cast members of Community were in it.

Ed was a guest on the Fly on the Wall pod recently

Listening to this ep now and I'm reminded why I don't listen to this pod. The hosts are terrible.
But I'm also reminded why Eddie Vedder has meant so much to me in my life. The man is so interesting and articulate and honest and insightful.
Eddie Vedder is a joy and a true inspiration.

The Ed episode is the first one I’ve listened to since they changed the format. It was much better earlier when they were more SNL-centric but Carvey got to where he was really hard to listen to. He tries to talk over everyone and becomes very annoying.

Might I recommend What's Our Podcast with Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett if you need a new SNL podcast? It's not SNL centric, but obviously it has come up. It's mostly just those two guys being funny

This one’s been growing on me.

This one is going pretty damn good.
Update: That was one of the good ones!

We’ve been watching SNL UK. Going in, I was worried it wouldn’t connect because I don’t generally like British humor (like many Americans), but joke and rhythm wise, they’re basically trying to copy SNL. Like, Weekend Update is a a carbon copy. It’s sort of cringey.
But really, I underestimated the importance of SNL’s culturally referential humor. Cold opens featuring Keir Starmer’s idiosyncrasies or jokes about kabab shops just don’t land. Which is fine of course, I’m not the intended audience. It’s just surprising how much they’re copping from the original, and if that will translate to success across the pond. My guess is no.

Jack Black can carry sketches for sure, but a lot of the ep felt disjointed and under rehearsed.
