This one just grew out of a surprise I found today in the list of all-time hits leaders...it might not even be that hard, just kind of a head scratcher. Only 4 active major leaguers have 2500+ hits, and I'll spot you Jeter...who are the other three? No peaking! (Or, if you peak, don't guess!)

Yeah, those are sort of obvious. The other one took me by surprise.

I just looked it up. I never would have guessed the third one.

You guys are quicker than I thought!

Jeter - 3443
A-Rod - 2939
Ichiro - 2823
Beltre - 2573

Poo Holes is knocking on the door with 2492. It's kind of crazy to me that Beltre has more hits than Todd Helton.

Spoiler: show
Pujols

Beltre is so fucking underrated. In 2012-2013 (very little protection last year) in Texas he carried us at times. Really hope he gets to 3K. No reason to think he can't. He's had a damn good season this year with essentially no protection. He's also an absolute joy to watch play 3rd base.

Haha truth. When I saw your PMs I was like noooooooooooo. He probably would have been my 3rd or 4th pick.

That 2004 season was too ridiculous to pass up for a third baseman. Also, I figured you'd have you eye on him, so I had to strike quick.

We'll consider it payback for you taking my favorite player of all-time.

:-)

Yeah I was expecting more mean mugs for taking Bonds. I got Pudge (Rodriguez....Red Sockers) who is one of my faves ever and one of my other faves who is eligible for this draft is still on the board but probably wont be for long.

When I saw where I was picking I figured my shot at Bonds was slim to none, so I wasn't mad. I got Frank Thomas, and I plan on taking some fanboy picks later in the draft.

I was pissed you took Bonds. I was hoping you'd all be foolish enough to let him fall to me.

When Bonds came off the board I knew I wanted Trout, but I thought there was a really good chance chud would take him. Then I don't know what I would've done.

It'll be interesting to see how many hits Cabrera and Cano get to.

I hope Ich gets to 3K.
