I've been having quite a few of these moments. This album is nothing like I expected, and just keeps getting better with each listen.Jaeti wrote:Mmmkay, Infallible and I just had a moment and it went from "really good" to "great."
I never had this experience with theasy couple of albums, I feel the same way about those now as I did when I first heard them.

The countdown was a fail (fully understanding the logistics of the tour announcement), but since then it's been a nice steady stream. No way Tim pulled this off; they must have a decent agency working on this.stip wrote:turns out they were really really good at this. and they gave us a good album to boot. But I'm 1/4 of the way finished with my review of the next album. I just need to it to be over 6500 words or however long stip's LB review was. I'm getting there. I am so ahead of the game.

It'll ruin your Lightning Bolt experience because all you'll want to do is find out how you too can hear the advance copy of Album #11 that I received from my time-traveling future self.Sgt. I'm not sure if I should tease you with titles/writing credits or just let it all blow your mind when I post my review.harmless wrote:Lament wrote:It'll ruin your Lightning Bolt experience because all you'll want to do is find out how you too can hear the advance copy of Album #11 that I received from my time-traveling future self.Sgt. Tim is in no way capable of this. It's gotta be Michele Anthony, who is an exective extraordinaire from what I gather.....Coach wrote:The countdown was a fail (fully understanding the logistics of the tour announcement), but since then it's been a nice steady stream. But then again, this stuff is necessary nowadays. Media is so splintered that acts have to do multiple promotions to reach even half the number of audience they did back in the 90s. Back then, the audience were held captive by just a few media sources, now it's hundreds. That said, I've seen promotional tie-in not work, Muse did a massive tie-in and introduced their new song last year with the Olympics as like a theme song or something and they're last album didn't make much of a splash. Also, Green Day did a bunch of tie-ins but there effort last year pooped out pretty bad.

Christian Fresco sounds like a made up name. Like Sandy Beach or Lane Closure.

BoB had words to say about Kelly Curtis' efficiency (or lack thereof). Nobody has heard from Kelly Curtis since.Thejambi wrote:What every happened to Kelly Curtis?
