This is nitpicky but that Back and forth between the Vader fight and the reva fighting Owen would have been really cool set to that really tense music at the end of rogue one.

Two things that were overshadowed:

The Reva struggle scene when she was about to kill Luke.

Owen can hold his own in a fight!

Haha i know what you mean but this wasn’t that bad. Man, I’m getting pissed off just thinking about how awfully dark that GoT episode was

Yeah, I'd love to see Vader with his own centric show. Maybe a life-action story based largely around the stuff they've done in the comics and then beyond.

Also, I know a lot of folks weren't thrilled with Reva, but I fucking loved that character and I'd 100% check out a Reva show about her and her journey post Kenobi.
Post Kenobi? I figure they’re shacked up there in a cave out past the Dune Sea.

The scene where they're in bed and he calls her Satine is gonna be epic.

Or Duel of the Fates. I wished there was no intercutting at all. Keep the energy and focus on Vader vs. Kenobi.

I've seen multiple people take issue with intercutting in this series. I never even notice it, really. To me it all flowed really well. But I think that's an interesting critique. And I wonder how people feel about the last 30 minutes of Jedi in that regard.

Also, I feel like the music in this is fantastic. Why do we need to retread all the old music all the time -- brilliant as it all is. I feel like the score for this was appropriate and never overbearing.

I don't object to it as a tool. It was frustrating to me we were finally getting something good and kept cutting away to the B plot which did nothing for me all season. It wasn't terrible here but a lot of my feeling stems from the fact this should've been a movie and more focused on Vader and Obi-Wan overall. Leia and (in the finale) Luke felt like distractions.

It didn't have to be John Williams' music but my stance is, if you're dealing with PT/OT characters, you use PT/OT music. You better have a really good reason for not using it. Regardless of that, I thought the music was unremarkable. It's not impossible to have a solid non-John Williams score (see: Michael Giacchino in Rogue One) but it didn't work for me here. I kept waiting for all the familiar themes to pop up and we got next to nothing until that cheap cover version of the Imperial March in the last episode.

I'm so thrilled to hear you liked the Rogue One score! I feel like so many people thought it was awkward and out of place and un- Star Wars. But I loved it.

I do hear you about the show working better as a movie. I loved being able to spend so much time in the world but I do think there was a top shelf film in there for sure.

There was a slight motif of the score when Luke looks over the desert at sunsset tho

It looked as bad here at the time, but I'll rewatch it when it's dark soon. As you're saying, probably better than the GOT lighting then.

Only noticed it during the middle of the Vader vs Obi-Wan fight. Was one time I felt it was strange.

There’s two or three of the established music cues in the final scenes I thought. Leias theme, the force theme(Luke’s theme) and I think obi wans theme(the force theme) then obviously imperial March.

The odd thing about those two episodes of GOT is they went all out with hundreds or even thousands of extras and then decided to make it so dark to make it more realistic. An odd decision for sure but it worked for me. The memes about it at the time were classic :)

I'm unclear (and this might be because no one in my house shuts the fuck up and lets me watch this shits) whether Reva knows who Luke is? Does she's know he's Anakin's son? Does she think he's Obi-Wan's son? Does she just think he's someone that Obi-Wan is protecting?

That being said, she was very efficient at going to a planet full of people with only the name "Owen."
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Did he say his name when she confronted him in the first episode?

I don’t think she knows exactly who he is. But I can’t remember what the message said that lead her there.

Although, what would be the point of her going after him if she didn’t know? I kept thinking while she was chasing him that this wouldn’t affect Vader at all since he doesn’t even know of the boy’s existence.
