Rats, You Are, and BushLeaguer have a groove going on. Stone and Jeff like them some funk and rap. It's a white boy groove no doubt but it's there.

With the right DJ mix you could make the above songs work on the dance floor.

I find no fault with this song, and can point out several things about it that I like.

That said, I've listened to it exactly 4 times since I purchased it the day it became available, so that says a hell of a lot.

yeah somewhat. live at least. I read once that Tom Morello wanted to cover Animal. made me realize it's got a pretty solid groove to it, especially the demo.

I think ed steered them toward the abrasive punk thing, though, so the groove was squashed.

Yup. Vitalogy and No Code in spots too. Tremor Christ is groovy, Who You Are etc.

I couldn't care less about the "groove", as long as the songs are good. Some of my favorite Pearl Jam songs are utterly grooveless.

I didn't say I *only* like groovy Pearl Jam. Thumbing My Way isn't the most groovy PJ song ever but I love it.
