Rats, You Are, and BushLeaguer have a groove going on. Stone and Jeff like them some funk and rap. It's a white boy groove no doubt but it's there.

With the right DJ mix you could make the above songs work on the dance floor.

That riff is so boring and generic and that video really emphasizes just how boring it is.

Luckily, for me, the finished puzzle is much more enjoyable to witness. I put that on Ed.....

I find no fault with this song, and can point out several things about it that I like.

That said, I've listened to it exactly 4 times since I purchased it the day it became available, so that says a hell of a lot.

yeah somewhat. live at least. I read once that Tom Morello wanted to cover Animal. made me realize it's got a pretty solid groove to it, especially the demo.

I think ed steered them toward the abrasive punk thing, though, so the groove was squashed.

I don't think groove precludes white skin, it just precludes an unimaginative drummer.

I didn't say I *only* like groovy Pearl Jam. Thumbing My Way isn't the most groovy PJ song ever but I love it.

This song is still in very heavy rotation 'round my place. I love it. I get excited every time it comes on.

Compare DTE studio with early Matt live versions. That will show it well.
