I think it’s an absolute guarantee. When has something being against the law EVER stopped him from doing anything? Presidents aren’t supposed to profit from being in office. Trump says “fuck that” and nothing happens. He leaves office and takes mounds of super classified paperwork with him. “Fuck you” says Trump and nothing happens to him. No matter what he’s supposed to NOT be allowed to do, he does it anyway and still comes out a winner. Who or what is gonna stop him from running again when the time comes?

Now, hopefully he’ll be dead before he’s given the opportunity but, you never know.

I don't think he'll try and change the law, as that would open up the possibility of Obama running again, and I'm not sure he wants that. If anything, he'll just try to stay in office past his term. Which is worse because then democracy has absolutely failed at that point.

God i hope he doesn't do anything and is just a regular president.
