Except for Vs. - Vitalogy, they've never had a turnaround that was significantly shorter than the one that preceded it. At this rate we shouldn't expect another one before 2018.

I dunno, they're having trouble getting it together as it is, and they're only getting older. Wasn't there an interview with jeff where he said he hated touring?
If they were the kind of band to just toss out an album whenever it wouldn't matter, but like BoB said in that interview whenever they put out an album they know they gotta get that whole thing rolling again, i can see them deciding its not really worth it, or always planning to do something but it just not happening. Or we'll get 2 records in the next decade.

Maybe its just that i'd rather they'd stop than turn into the stones really. Mehh.

Here is an idea. Stone gets the band together for 2 weeks in his studio, they send the music to Ed, he throws vocals on it, they throw it up on PJ.com for digital sale, they do a small venue tour with sporadic dates.

If they listened to all our ideas they'd have 6 EPs, 15 albums;10 of which were varying degrees of trippy psychedelic 'space-rock'; all of which would have different producers, 5 world tours, 2 club show tours, 3 acoustic tours and and they'd alternate between dave A , jack irons and Matt sporadically, all this decade. And they'd all be unmarried, childless and miserable.

I'd be guaranteed to like at least one of those space rock albums i'm sure.

I just meant if they're reading this board, they're clearly not taking notes. They're sitting at the back of the class, waiting for the bell to go so they can head down to the beach and smoke some green and surf. I don't think eddie even turned up for class. He's failing for sure.
