After a few listens:

Probably going straight onto the regular playlist: Getaway, Sirens.

Enjoying the hell out of them: Infallible, Lightning Bolt, Future Days, Sleeping by Myself, MYM.

Getting better and better and could become favourites: Pendulum, MFS.

Probably destined to mostly be skipped: Yellow Moon, Swallowed Whole, LTRP.

you're making me sad with yellow moon.
Would you make arguments for: Cropduster, Ghost, Get Right?

All those songs make the same mistake of attempting something with the vocal melody that makes it sound meandering and tuneless rather than "pretty", for lack of a better word.

I LOVE Cropduster and Ghost!!! And I like Get Right as a friend and I totally would look if she took her top off in front of me.

I like, but don't love all 3 of those songs. 3.5s

But Yellow Moon has a strong atmosphere and eddie just SOUNDS so good I don't care. Plus I like the way everything is extended on the chorus.

Oh no, for me the chorus is the absolute worst part of the song. I almost feel bad now, you guys.

But not really, 'cuz that'd be ridiculous.

Dear Lightning Bolt,

C'mere, let me study your face, and probably kiss it.

What I'm realising now, is that there are very few low points on this album. No tracks that I immediately dislike, and the weaker tracks are growing on me. It's a solid effort.

:ohyeah!:

Yeah. There are moments I laugh at, but not a single one I don't enjoy.
