After a few listens:
Probably going straight onto the regular playlist: Getaway, Sirens.
Enjoying the hell out of them: Infallible, Lightning Bolt, Future Days, Sleeping by Myself, MYM.
Getting better and better and could become favourites: Pendulum, MFS.
Probably destined to mostly be skipped: Yellow Moon, Swallowed Whole, LTRP.

Would you make arguments for: Cropduster, Ghost, Get Right?stip wrote:you're making me sad with yellow moon.ABNorman wrote:After a few listens:

All those songs make the same mistake of attempting something with the vocal melody that makes it sound meandering and tuneless rather than "pretty", for lack of a better word.

But Yellow Moon has a strong atmosphere and eddie just SOUNDS so good I don't care. Plus I like the way everything is extended on the chorus.

Oh no, for me the chorus is the absolute worst part of the song. I almost feel bad now, you guys.stip wrote: I like, but don't love all 3 of those songs. 3.5s

Re: Lightning Bolt: The Official Album Thread
What I'm realising now, is that there are very few low points on this album. No tracks that I immediately dislike, and the weaker tracks are growing on me. It's a solid effort.

Yeah. There are moments I laugh at, but not a single one I don't enjoy.
