So this alleged attack on the guy from Empire has seemed off from the beginning, and now he's refusing to turn over his cell phone so investigators can verify his claim that he was speaking to his manager during the attack. Not sure what the real story is but this seems to be coming undone for the guy...

I don't get it. He followed the law and that's somehow an indictment of his beliefs?

If you’re a libertarian, pretty much yeah

I'm all for dunking on libertarians but that Tweet doesn't make any sense.

People think that participating in a system you are forced to participate in somehow how constitutes hypocrisy, or that libertarians believe that people should do everything themselves.

I'm with Burt and Bi on this one. The core belief system and the participation in the law of the land can co-exist. I see it happen all the time.

Do these stories ever turn out to be true? It's amazing how often they are proven to be fake.

I don't understand this one. I saw a news story about there being video evidence of something but then he's acting like it didn't really happen. Weird shit all-round.
As for Paul: I thought it was funny for various reasons. One of which is his dislike of Canadian healthcare, until he had to have surgery. Another of which is his insistence on tax cuts, taxes that pay for the police.
The last one about suing? That one's dumb. This is America, you can sue anyone for anything and that was the correct course of action.
And just tossing this one out there because I was reading the article: However, a 2014 Pew Poll found that 23% of Americans who identify as libertarians have no idea what the word means.[262]

Reading that article: Can the person who adopted the dog because they wouldn't let the one guy do it be charged as an accessory?
