Feels like the shows have been trending longer the older the band has gotten. The '98 shows were 24-25 songs. In 2003, the State College show blew everyone's mind at 36 (I think) songs, and now they routinely play close to that. Who knows?

yeah, the show i saw in 2018 was super intense. I dont see them slowing down.

I just saw a shitty video of the See Hear Now festival show they just played, and I'll be damned but they sounded polished and refreshed, with what seemed to be a lot of their late-career annoying traits ironed out; I'm really proud of them!

I've watched the whole show now thanks to a stream on Facebook, and I'll be damned if it wasn't their best show in years -- and that's coming from someone who has been especially jaded about PJ (Live) for a long time now

Made this playlist. Listened to it once on shuffle, then ordered it like this. Now I'm listening again. On a Pearl Jam kick lately.

Also, for you RMers, no call and response during Corduroy, but they did jam and delayed the “everything has chains…” line - a compromise.

the way they jammed those chords in that section was fucking perfect, it's euphoric

I just learned our grants director was at the unplugged show and saw them 6 times at Lollapalooza. We have much to talk about

Today marks 25 years since my first Pearl Jam (or any) show. I am now the old guy at the show that’s seen stuff…

Not sure if this is the exact thread for this, but I can came across a pretty cool production/mixing podcast called 'Andrew Talks to Awesome People,' hosted by Andrew Scheps.

In this clip, he talks to Trina Shoemaker who worked for Brendan O'Brien and Nick DiDia while PJ was recording at Kingsway Studios in New Orleans for Vitalogy. She's got some got some funny, interesting stories about that time. The PJ portion starts at 1:21:45.
