I'd like to try American Hustle again, but none of the ones after looked remotely interesting.tragabigzanda wrote:This is when DOR went full suck and never looked backAnders wrote:Silver Linings Playbook

Although I haven’t seen either in about 9 years. So we’ll see how they do now. Great start to SLP so far.

Rewatched American Hustle a couple months back and really enjoyed it. Lots of fun, ridiculous moments

I've been trying to re-watch Avatar today, in case I decide to go see the new one. I have the same hangups as I did when seeing it in the theater. I'm not sure I'm going to finish this.

Not a giant screen, not in 3D, Avatar is forgettable. I assume the same is true of the new one.

Maybe. I'm not big on 3D, and ain't no dang authority on the revolutionary technical achievements, but I don't think that will be enough for me to enjoy sitting through it.epilogue wrote:Not a giant screen, not in 3D, Avatar is forgettable. I assume the same is true of the new one.

Re: What movies are you watching?
I don't disagree. I have no interest in Avatar 2. But the only thing I remember loving about Avatar 1 was how brilliant the 3D stuff was.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Maybe. Re: What movies are you watching?
Top 10 Movies that I saw in 2022:
Nope
The Banshees of Inisherin
Competencia Oficial
Everything Everywhere All At Once
Babylon
The Menu
The Fabelmans
The Batman
Don’t Worry Darling
Vengeance
There are so many movies that I didn't get to see. I'm sure this list will change tremendously over the next few years as I fill in the gaps.

Re: What movies are you watching?
I don't think I saw it in 3D, so yeah not saying that wouldn't engage me more. Non 3D at least I just don't feel as immersed in the Pandora world itself as I feel I should.epilogue wrote:I don't disagree. I have no interest in Avatar 2. I really want to go to the theater while out for the break, and other than Babylon i'm not the least bit interested in anything else out.
