We have most of your American devil food outlets. McDonald's burger king dominos and KFC mostly.

Five guys just opened recently (€14? For a burger? They won't last long)

I made this myself but though. Know the spice mix.

I hate wedges passionately. They are not food.

14 euros is absurd! Here, a Five Guys burger is between $6-$9. What's your average burger flipper getting paid?

Minimum wage. €8.25 I think.

Ok, so cheaper wages than the US + plus a far more expensive product = you're paying for transport of product across the ocean. I wonder if they're producing their own potatoes in Ireland? Does Ireland still grow a lot of potatoes?
Haha. Not primarily. We supply the UK with most of their beef as well as other big markets.
I'm not sure we even grow spuds on any major scale anymore. Makes sense that we don't. It went badly wrong one time.

We are one of only a handful of countries that could be self sufficient in food though.
Not that the bastards wouldn't overcharge if it came to that. They would.

Wrong thread, then. You didn't make anything except a mistake by going to a fondue place called the melting pot
