Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

Thing is, a shitty AiC ripoff still kinda sounds like AiC, so at least one song was kinda tolerable. I don't really care if bands rip each other off or not.

Creed it's pretty bad, though:

3% Alice in Chains
3% Eddie Vedder
3% Jesus
1% 90's Metallica
90% water

Yeah, out of all the bands that were yuge around this time, Godsmack was the most tolerable. I remember being in a record store and seeing that tape and laughing to myself, because of the name. Fast forward a year, I heard them on the radio and thought they were AIC for a moment. Seether wasn't actually that bad, either. At least until B'OB produced a record for them and they became watered down, like he did to Incubus. I'd wager that all of these bands tune down at least a full step, though (except Incubus). It was a trend at the time. Which is crazy, because Motley Crue always have too, and Vince Neil wails like a damn banshee. :haha:

I hadn't heard any Creed since 2001 or so so I took LV's novelty post as an excuse to revisit "Higher." Can confirm: Would rather listen to a 24-hour "Let the Records Play"/"Future Days" marathon than do that again.

Yesterday I made an incredibly awful 90s/early 00s Spotify playlist. Pure ear poison. I love it. Truly the nadir of radio music.

BRB I forgot I need to add Hoobastank.

There's some similar letter patterns that popped up and I think my brain picked up on that. I do the same thing with numbers. My ADHD is funny, sometimes. :P

Not really, but I wanted to show it to her first. Hopefully, she'll be half as excited as I am! :P

Yeah, I snagged this up and she's pretty happy with it. I can't wait to listen later this evening and this will be great for our Anniversary trip coming up! Definitely worth $20, but I believe it's edited, unless some of the snippets/covers are lumped together. I don't see the Dark Globe or After Hour covers at all.

Based on Shut Up and Play the Hits and their SNL performances, I'm pretty sure LCD Soundsystem are completely fucking insufferable.

I think the people are so fucking annoying, but the records are awesome.
The music I've heard does nothing for me.
