McCain said we would be in Iraq for 100 years, or else bad things would happen, and Obama laughed at him. Pres Obama never left Iraq. Bad things happened when he drew down there. We will be in Iraq for 100 years.
Romney said Russia was our number one geopolitical foe, and Obama laughed at him. Putin invaded Ukraine and meddled in the 2016 election. Pres Obama dropped some sanctions on Russia and Russia is a foe.
Clinton called for a no-fly zone and a more robust response in Syria. Trump apparently didn't agree with that. Pres Trump is bombing Assad and I bet a no-fly zone will be announced very soon.

It easy to criticize. Investigations into the use of banned weapons take years, even with unrelenting mudslides of evidence. This screams "how do I look stronger than Obama to distract from my abject failure of leadership so far while not actually doing anything of real consequence?"
