It's a pretty oppressive movie and I personally would have a terrible experience watching it stoned

Really loved Men. After all the discourse I was surprised to see it's a subdued, painterly fever dream. Found it extremely compelling and often very beautiful, even when it's being grotesque

Resurrection other than that it has a badass poster.

I wasn't a great fan of it, but I am a bit surprised at how absent it is has been from end-of-2022 this-year-in-cinema discussions. It's almost already forgotten, but it was highly anticipated

It didn't hit for me, but I can see how it could. It was effective and I still remember it well

I think it's an attempt at "elevated horror" with none of the subtlety, but there's nothing wrong with that
