What a waste. I think that movie could have been so much better. In the beginning it seems like such a cool movie, well made, very stylish. But the story with clones, a clumsy love love angle, etc, is just poor. Poorly told as well.

I had very similar feelings of it. I was fairly intrigued before it fell apart.

Just saw Banshees of Inisherin. I enjoyed the acting and the old Irish accents. Definitely somewhat feels like an ancient allegory for something. But it's lacking something for me. Left me feeling sad. Doubt I will watch it again.

I guess my allegorical takeaway would be: Respect the wishes of your friends, despite yourself. Which is a good message both characters could've benefitted from. I also very much enjoyed the scenery.
