I am becoming increasingly jealous of Xavier Dolan's success. Anyone here see any of his bullshit yet?

We Need to Talk About Kevin.
One of those movies that has been sitting in my Netflix queue for a while. It's about the troubled relationship between a mother and her son who ultimately becomes a psychopath. There are some horror elements but it's more of a family drama. The second half is particularly good when it becomes obvious Kevin just isn't some bratty kid or has a disability like autism. Tilda Swinton got some deserved critical praise as the mom but I thought Ezra Miller (who has distinctive look) did a good job too as Kevin. John C Reilly appears in a serious role as the in denial/oblivious dad. It's not an enjoyable type of movie by it's nature but I liked it for what it was worth.

Have you seen Elephant? Was it as difficult to sit through as that? I don't think I can sit through Elephant again.

That is one of those movies I'll never watch again. That and 8mm.

No, Kevin is mostly told from the mother's point of view so we don't see too much of that act and in that sense it's not nearly as diffulcult as Elephant.

I guess you could say that. A lot of philosophy terminology. He also has a thick accent and a lisp. Took me awhile to get used to .
