How many here own a gun?
Has anyone here bought a gun recently because of recent/upcoming events?
Are gun shops and ammunition stocks running low in your area?

2. No, only the unprepared have done so. I know of 1 person who just purchased his first gun. Ended up with 2 semi auto rifles and 1 handgun
3. Ammo for common handgun calibers is getting sold as soon as its unloaded from the truck. Seems like most first time buyers opted to go with 9mm pistols.
Rifle ammunition is mostly available in common calibers, but pricey.
Ammunition for uncommon calibers is readily available, as are sporting/target loads for shotguns (appropriate for sporting clays or some birds, not self defense)
