I take back my earlier comment: watching all these also-rans tee off on Biden and Harris is awesome.

The things she said had to be exaggeration, but Harris didn't respond

The worst part of the last two nights: not one candidate is inspiring or exciting. What a bland bunch. Fuck.

Charisma is overrated. At this point I'll settle for someone in office who isn't a climate denier. But yeah, most voters want to buy into a personality or a guy they'd like to have a beer with.

These independent voter numbers in the new Quinnipiac poll don’t bode well for Trump’s re-election strategy.

Do you think that the conditions in immigration detention centers are a serious problem, or don't you think so?

Yes: 68%
No: 24%

Do you think that the federal government is doing enough to ensure humane conditions in immigration detention centers, or don't you think so?

Which comes closer to your point of view: A) it is better to keep all undocumented immigrants in detention centers, even if it causes overcrowding and bad conditions, or B) it is better to allow some undocumented immigrants to be released under supervision if there is not sufficient room, even if it means some of them will not return for their court dates?

A: 30%
B: 52%

Do you think President Trump is racist, or don't you think so?

Yes/racist: 56%
No: 38%

I've always liked Bernie. And I've often had more issues with his fervent supporters (the "Bernie Bros" as it were) than I have with him. But I've still been fairly resistant to him. His interview on PSA has moved the needle for me to a great degree. He's a top 3 candidate for me now. What an excellent interview. Got to dive into his character and vision more than the soundbites and talking points and rallies have allowed.

I watched both debates and thought no one was great except for Elizabeth Warren who really stuck to her guns, did not equivocate or apologize, and told everyone plainly what she thought and believed. I liked hearing from Buttigieg also but still had some reservations.

Biden was a mess and the media narrative on him is wrong that he held his own. He still struggled to complete his thoughts and ran out of words and pretended the moderators were stopping him.

I don't know where to put this but I just realized Moscow Mitch looks just like Mason Verger from the movie Hannibal.
