My God the local commercials are awful. All of the Republican ads have apparently taken instructions from Trump. Every Dem is referred to as “woke” then their name, and they show their pronouns. And the Republican candidates are old as fuck so them saying “woke Jeff Jackson” comes out awkward and weird

NC has a Democratic Governor, Lt. Gov, and Att. General.
The Democrat narrowly beat the home schooling mom that was running for Superintendent of Public Schools.

Our General Assembly lost their Republican super-majority, so they can't override the governor's vetoes.
We have a 12-week abortion ban. Here's hoping they don't try to drop it before January.

It is so crazy how the race for governor wasn't even close. I had hoped that would carry over into the presidential race in NC, but nope. Just like last election.

I refuse to take the die option, but I refuse to stick around my state either.

I really thought we'd get Ted Cruz out this time. Allred was the kind of democrat that appealed to me. Spoke to the center of the party, not trying to make progressive fetch happen in Texas, pretty much the anti-Beto. Maybe (probably) Texas just isn't purple after all, no matter how hard some in the media try to make it seem that way.

That's good. My son has a trans friend that had to transfer to Washington after facing discrimination at Ohio State.

This woman is fucking nuts. Not a teacher, never worked in education, home schools her kids, called for the public execution of Barack Obama to "raise money". And she only lost by less than 10 percentage points, I believe. Americans are fucking stupid.

Virtually every statewide race here was right in the 57% to 43% range.

Roughly 1.4M votes for the D in each race (including president) and roughly 1.1M votes for the R.

The candidate does not matter here. All about the color of the yard sign. Such a fkn joke.

I will have you know I voted for exactly 6 of each and Kennedy for prez.

And there’s the mysterious disappearing blue votes of 2020. Bammer is the exact demo of guys who voted for Biden but couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Harris.

Lol @ the idea of voting for Biden.

Which reminds me I just saw a quick clip that he gave a post-election speech and didn’t realize he is actually still alive and presidenting right now.

Absolutely appalling. Surprised Trump hasn’t said it was really the democrats that shot them and is trying to frame MAGA for it yet.
