I havent enjoyed a Red Sox season as much as this one since 2004.

I really liked 08.

Im still bitter about them trading Manny that year.

Loved that trade.

Made it to game 7 of the ALCS despite trading away one of the greatest right handed hitters of all time, and the presence of julio lugo. Managed to get Jason Bay for the last few months of his career as a productive payer (who I loved at the time). And, Pedroia's MVP season.

Yeah I'm not rational about the whole Manny thing, I fucking loved that guy and all his antics.

By 08 it was too much.

Also this is slightly off topic, but although I'm happier that the space between the Rays increased while I was out of town, it's still unfortunate that it narrows the Yankees' wild card deficit.
