im not outraged by it or anything, but why change the line? it isn't a better line by any means. Why deviate?

Lysa killed Jon Arryn with Tears of Lys. Littlefinger kills her, which leads to tears of Lysa. Sorry, I'll see myself out.

I guess with Arya already being in the Vale, it's going to be pretty easy for her to jump on a ship and head to Bravos. But there's going to have to be a big swerve for her not to run into Sansa (if they avoid running into each other).

Do you all feel that people in the show thread can get a bit too touchy sometimes? I don't think "I bet the Lord of Light plays an important role down the line" is something to get bent out of shape about; it's not like I said, "Big moment for Jon and Ygrette coming up!" or something like that. What I said doesn't preclude the fact that big things have happened since this moment in the story. Ah, well, I guess I'll stay out of that thread for now.

they just suffered quite the gut punch, so they can be a bit touchy

Arya is my favorite. That scene.... MAN! I can't wait for next season. I'm more excited to see her in Bravos (and where the show takes Sansa, because it already feels different) than I am about the final episodes of this season.

I felt the same way. Brush it off. Or just lie and tell people you stopped reading after book three.

Looks like this week's episode will be entirely composed of the Battle on the Wall.

Does this mean the final scene of the finale will be Tywin/Tyrion?

Either that or LSH or maybe trion meeting young griff?

Don't denigrate. It took those people a lot of time and effort to not read those books.

maybe the former, the latter would be WAY too soon.

I think they have to get to Tywin/Tyrion, I feel like they've already dragged out the end of book 3 long enough. It's only like a quarter of the book from the Red Wedding until Tyrion escapes, right? Maybe it only felt that way bc I couldn't stop reading the book at that point.

The encounter has to happen in the finale. They've done a great job building to it all season.

I'm hoping it will end with Tyrion/Tywin, then LSH.

Ooo. Isn't the actress who plays Cat busy with another show now?
