Viewing photo of dead suspect cathartic for some officers

His mouth is agape. His face is awash in blood. On his left side is a wide gash where doctors cut him open to try to tsave his life.
The image of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, dead and naked on a slab, snapped by an unknown person, was e-mailed repeatedly by law enforcement officers Friday.
“Suspect 1” was written above the gruesome picture.
Seeing a photo of one of the Marathon bombing suspects dead was cathartic, said one law enforcement official who saw the picture.
Passing it around was a rare chance “to revel” while other officers searched for Tsarnaev’s brother, Dzhokhar, the official said. “Mission accomplished. We’re halfway there. Justice is served.”
Boston police officers have been working 12-hour shifts since Monday and many were kept well past the end of their shifts Friday morning after the chaos broke out Thursday night.
Officers who had been working since 6 p.m. were placed at major intersections around their districts and told to look at passing cabs. Some were stopped as officers peered into the backseat looking for Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, the remaining Boston Marathon bombing suspect.
Officers who started their day at 6 a.m. and had gotten a few more hours of sleep were sent out of their districts to help with the search.

They are reporting body has been found in a boat in Watertown, there were also shots fired, don't know why if a body and not a person who was alive was found.
