Re: Next-Gen Consoles (Coming 2020-ish)
I think I registered, if I remembered my ID correctly. Man, this little piece of technology, chunk of beautiful white and blue finely molded plastic.
I think what I look forward to most is the controller. Dual shock 4 definitely needed big improvements.

I'm just counting on improved durability and overall quality. I hope they don't cut corners this time.

I don't have a problem with the quality or durability of the DS4. What are you doing to your controller?tree_ wrote:I'm just counting on improved durability and overall quality. I hope they don't cut corners this time.

Playing a lot of Rocket League and the left stick wears out pretty quickly. I think I had this most recent controller for about 5 months and the left stick is already loosening and drifting up. Took it apart to try to fix it and really messed it up and now I have to use my older controller again which has bigger stick issues and a loose square button.Monkey_Driven wrote:I don't have a problem with the quality or durability of the DS4. Re: Next-Gen Consoles (Coming 2020-ish)
I have three of them (mostly to rotate out when the battery dies) and they're still all in great shape. The "newest" one is probably from 2016 or so? Any controller would probably wear out quickly if you play the same game and put the same type of stress of the controller for hundreds of hours.

To be fair, I play very few competitive games, so my "stick performance" is not that crucial to my enjoyment.

Rachet and Clank is the only true “next gen” game I’ve seen really get showcased. That’ll be when I pick up a PS5.

Yeah it does. Looks like you're playing a legit Pixar movie.Monkey_Driven wrote:Looks incredible.scrub12 wrote:Rachet and Clank is the only true “next gen” game I’ve seen really get showcased. That’ll be when I pick up a PS5.
