Good episode, but they really are setting it up to end with the "love and/or family conquers all" when Jack undoubtedly will take down the Borg from the inside.

RIP Admiral Shelby.
I love that Data still calls JL "Captain"
Fuckin' sucks about Capt. Shaw.
NC1701-D. way to bring a character back from the dead.

Hey I just thought of something. Didn’t Agnes become some sort of Borg mother-person? Wonder if she’ll show up in the finale.

Her Borg are a breakaway faction, not the Borg featured in this season. It's all up to Jack to save the day.

Wow I'm sad its over lol. Loved the finale. Hope we get Legacy. I'd give Season 3 a 8/10.

Good finale but it just kind of petered out. I wish they hadn’t ended with the Jack and Q scene. Kind of undercuts the beauty of ending with the card game.

Worf: "And I will make it a threesome"
Riker: "You hear yourself, right?"
To me, this has been the greatest Trek of all Treks.
Was really hoping to see Janeway in this last ep though.
and yes, Jack and Q wasn't how I would have ended all this.

I've only made it about halfway through S3 so far, but overall I'm enjoying it. I have to say, Jonathan Frakes has been f'ing phenomenal in this thing thus far. And I've been into TNG since I was 8 years old...

It does feel like we were robbed of another two or three movies with this outstanding cast after Nemesis bombed. They just couldn’t find the level of direction, effects, and writing required to match the acting talent after First Contact. This season three story would’ve made for an outstanding two-movie arc ten years ago. What might’ve been…

But sets up Legacy splendidly.

Nailed it. Down to the renaming. Loved it. I want MORE!!
“I miss that voice”
Worf snoring was one of his best scenes ever.
With that Q-Jack scene, Legacy pretty much HAS to happen now, right?
I was a bit disappointed with no Janeway, but the Koenig cameo was fantastic.

Exactly, and that’s the problem. Why are you veering off to set up a new series when the focus should be on the final farewell to the TNG cast as a group?
And renaming the Titan to Enterprise is truly bizarre.

Agreed. When Jack said something about honoring Jean-Luc I thought it was going to be named Picard. Was there some mention earlier in the season about not having an Enterprise in the fleet? Given its status within Starfleet, seems odd that there wasn’t one.

There
was one! They made a big deal out of showing it exiting space dock to join the rest of the fleet for Frontier Day. It was the biggest ship in the fleet.
Again: bizarre!

A quick www. search indicates that the F was already scheduled to be decommissioned.

I"m betting just about everyone watching thought it was going to be named The Picard.
