Can I just point to the previous two posts to get anyone who hasn’t watched Rebels to please watch it?
I’d forgotten all that. Thank you. Now I want to watch Rebels again.

In today’s ‘say anything for clicks’ john campea tweeted that Ashoka live action is coming and Brie Larson is taking on the role.
Then He deleted the tweet?

I don’t even care enough to check.

I missed all of the hubbub about this. But watching Campea's show from June 6th he's adamant that it's NOT happening. He says it's all rumor and totally unfounded and there's nothing to see here. So, I don't know what the drama's all about.

Having said that. If that happens, I'll explode into a thousand rainbows of joy. I want this to be a real thing so badly. I know it isn't right now. But there's no reason on earth they can't make this happen. :luv:

You missed the main point.

He posted it all over twitter like he had a scoop.
And people naturally fell for it.
That’s the problem.

They made an amazing series.

If that scene with Obi wan and maul facing off was in the big screen, you’d have harmony and plaudits.

Sadly that bitter element and even casual fan element of Star Wars will never engage with rebels or clone wars cos they’re animated.

I used to be one of those people and I’m delighted and a disciple of them now.

Will we ever get more Ahsoka?
Ideally they’ll come back to her and the search for Ezra.
The final Thrawn book is on the way and it’s called Treason.
It seems Thrawn turns on the emperor and sides with his people?
How that ties into what happens in Rebels with him disappearing with Ezra is anyone’s guess

I don't think they would have left the finale of rebels so open if they didn't have more plans for Ezra and the ones looking for him

And now they have an entire channel to do that on. I hope they go back to it.

Still. We have the final season of clone wars to look forward to. And she’s in that :) I’m excited for that

Probably not. She's not familiar with anything but the movies

Only in the interludes. And it was only sketches. We didn't really get to "see" it. And those interludes were based on the scripts for the season of The Clone Wars that was never produced....

UNTIL NOW! :hooray:
