I don't think it is that bad a move, considering in the grand scheme of the SW universe, Sabine isn't that big of a character. Now, how Sabine factors into bloodlines later on in the Star Wars Universe could get interesting or be overkill, depending on what they do with her.
No, you're right. That's why I amended my comment to a potentially stupid move. It'll all depend on how it shakes out.

Unless their end game is to really "make" people watch these cartoon shows, it's a risky play. It's certainly not impossible. But it could be tricky and complicated to explain all of this to "movie only" people. Not impossible, just tricky. Unless, again, the goal here to sort of make audiences responsible for consuming all Star Wars canon products.

I'm sure they'll make it work and I'll love it and I'll look back on all of this and think I was being an idiot about it. Just seems... I don't know, weird, to me. But I love Obi-Wan, so the more they can work him into this shit, the happier I am to eat at the Star Wars buffet!

I...

I'm still early in S2. But up to where I'm at? I'm not sure I'd put Hondo in the top 10, let alone in the top 2.

We're halfway through season three and Hando has outstayed his welcome.

You'll see.

I've seen one Rebels episode with Hondo. And he annoyed the shit out of me the entire time. Looking forward to seeing an improvement.

Hondo is fine. I kind of like his imagined relationship with Ezra

if he annoyed you that's not likely to change. I just think he's hilarious, though he's grown funnier each time he's been on, so maybe after a certain point the character transitions from annoying to funny

Joey, Hondo annoyed me at first too. But then I just accepted him for what he's meant to be on this show, a little bit of fun. Just try and take him for that and see if it helps
