If Fox has one of the playoff games on Sunday, we might hear a little more during a bump

Hopefully this song is either their best song since 2002, or even worse than can’t deny me.

Either way, this board will be super active after the release.

Help out an Aussie here. Why would Bill Simmons of all people have access to DOTC to play on his podcast?

Supposedly he plays Corduroy every day on his podcast, so I guess the requirement was pretty low

He has some connection to the band, so it's not as though it's just a random guy*:

Re: Dance Of The Clairvoyants
He was fun to read on “page 2” of espn back in the day. Often made comments about Pearl Jam. He was a Boston fan, but commented on everything.
After the Red Sox 2004 World Series he seemed to really take off, book & bigger profile at espn.
Then he led the development of espn’s 30 for 30 series. He went to LA, became a clippers fan, left espn, was on hbo, might be connected with The Ringer website now... he became insufferable very quickly when his work involved him talking as opposed to his previous written format.

I used to read him religiously back before he started writing exclusively for ESPN. He then turned pretty insufferable.

Maybe I’m just not paying attention to him anymore but I haven’t seen a Mailbag in a LONNNNGGG time. The Mailbag was pretty great. He tied in pop culture with sports very nicely.

I preferred the 10 second Mind Your Manners Clip tbh.
I certainly didn’t expect that.
Whilst I’m a little disheartened after hearing the clip, I’m still excited to hear the whole thing.

I believe those were an espn thing, and he hasn’t worked there for years.Bammer wrote:Maybe I’m just not paying attention to him anymore but I haven’t seen a Mailbag in a LONNNNGGG time. The Mailbag was pretty great. He tied in pop culture with sports very nicely.

Re: Dance Of The Clairvoyants
listened to this again this morning on headphones.
things that I like:
- Production values do sound improved
- Potential for live adjustments / development seems interesting. For example, I doubt matt or mike will want to just sit there and do nothing while a drum machine plays
- If I were ever to explore jamming a 12 inch dildo up my ass, and making out with the closest man standing near me, this is the song that would probably compel me to do that
things i don’t like
- Drum machine bits are too sterile
- Have no idea how Mike will overlay a standard pentatonic scale solo over too of this
- If I were ever to explore jamming a 12 inch dildo up my ass, and making out with the closest man standing near me, this is the song that would probably compel me to do that
will see how this develops
