Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
I love after the first chorus how they just let it breath a little bit rather than Ed jumping right back in.
I would have guessed Stone on the guitar so to hear Mike is a slight surprise.

Wow, I think I might like this a lot. Never in a million years did I ever expect PJ to become interesting again. Huh.

That’s what the background voice is singing.theplatypus wrote:I'm not convinced it is, not entirely. There's for sure a bit of cheekiness to this songtree_ wrote:it's meant to be somber, earnest though.

I’m not sure KT actually listened.tragabigzanda wrote:I don't give a shit about the overly negative takes, but I am disappointed that KT isn't digging on this

Every play is satisfying and exciting. They finally found a new creative juice. A juicy juice.PHATJ wrote:I’m through the roof excited by this song and what this hopefully means for Gigaton. I love it. I fucking love it. I’m not sure they could have gone any other direction that I would have been nearly as optimistic and excited for. This song is a decade late and just on time.

One of those things isn't like the other. Nobody associates filing things with growing their dicks. See: Virginia gun lunaticstragabigzanda wrote:Yeah this could definitely be the case. This is precisely what I like about it. It's like a tease before you get to the melodic second half of the song.theplatypus wrote:The chorus sounds like a pre-chorus. You think it's going to take you somewhere and then it just... doesn't

Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
special shout to that wonderful synth melody in the chorus! Absolutely lush and beautiful. I imagine this was Jeff's work on synth. Bravo. Brilliant.

I've decided that I truly like 45 non-consecutive seconds of the first minute of this song, but don't like the rest
