The bulk of the chorus is awesome but it resolves badly. The rest of the song is middling to lame. They should have worked that part into another song, I think.

Hold On, on the other hand, is entirely awful IMO. But that song gets lost props. I don't get that at all.

i doubt that would be the case here. Besides, excerable keys aside, it is a sweet and sentimental song about how you win when you have something to love. it borders on 4 stars for me.
