I wouldn't have bet on Tuskan Culture being the best thing Star Wars has done in over a year, but here we are. It's been the only part of the show ive had any real interest in.

I lent my DVDs to the neighbor 2 years ago and he still has them. I should go claim those.

I ended up downloading Season 1, which I'm plowing through, and I'm sure I'll binge Season 2 as well.

Losing Yaphet Kotto and Ned Beatty in the same year was tough for me.

It's tough to pick an MVP for the first season, because so many characters are so well formed and engaging from the jump, but I would probably pick G at this point--his presence is always so awe-inspiring without being overbearing (except when he gets to be angry, like cleaning off the desk for Bayliss), and he's got tons of tiny small moments that Kotto plays with perfect intensity (like when he constantly tells Frank to take his tie off in the heat wave episode) or understatement when it's needed. He's basically the dad in a family sitcom, but like no one has played him before or since.

Anyway, back to Book of Boba Fett--this show is dumb, but if you "expect the expected" going into every episode, it can be kind of fun at times.

I didn't expect a bunch of dumb, poorly-executed shit.

It was ok, not even close to the second episode in quality, but worth watching.

I wonder if Boba Fett would ever consider going after Leia or Han for the ruckus that sent him into the Sarlacc?

Doesn’t seem likely judging by who he has been blaming in this series.

Yeah, he seems to be of the opinion that it was the people hiring him that were putting his life in danger.

He's walking away from a past life that ended when he fell into the Sarlaac pit.

Also ... are we to understand he was unconscious in that thing for multiple years and armor that doesn't cover his arms or legs protected him from digestion?

I interpreted it as he got out of the Sarlacc pretty quickly (a few days after the sail barge explosion) and spent months/years with the sand people

I'm watching ep4 again, but I thought he said he'd been in the sarlaac for years.
