I love this game so much
That's next on my list to play. Great time of year for my backlog.
Totally worth playing; I wish other developers put so much time and content into DLC/expansions. Really hoping to see a meaty Horizon expansion akin to this one later this year/early next

Frozen Wilds was good. I'd expect something similar sometime this winter or next spring.

Mrs MF really wanted to play Stray, so I had to choose between 39.99 CA to buy, or 24.96 to upgrade to PS extra and get it for free. Guess which one I chose?
I wasn't home when she went to play it, but apparently our dog lost her mind trying to find the cat. Only got to play 10 minutes so this might have to be a headphones only kind of game in this house

Stray looks OK. But it looks to me like they went in the wrong direction with the cat-adventure concept. People want to play as a cat in a video game, but this story and gameplay look unappealing.

What would appeal to me more is something simple; country cat lost in a big city, trying to find its way home. I think making what seems to be all the NPCs robots was a poor decision. I want a modern day, big city, open world adventure, and with a dedicated "jump" button. Not this "press X now, watch animation" bs. Nothing takes me out of a video game more than QTEs. I really hope the new GoW avoids it this time.

I do agree that the action prompts really curbed my appetite here. But I'll still play it.
Apparently, the developers had an initial concept that gave the player the ability to jump wherever, but it seemed unrealistic. Cats are such precise jumpers and players are...not.

All games are like that. You can really make your character look sill in souls games

I don’t think it’s been posted here yet, but I’m excited that Tony Hawk is one of the old school PS+ games next month. We moved the PS4 to my daughter’s room but I’m going to steal some time from her for that.

PS5 getting a price hike in other countries. 10% in most of them, 21% in Japan. Sony said PS5 was profitable months after launch so this is kind of crazy.

Got Gran Turismo 7, and have had quite a lot of fun with it. Ordered FIFA 23.
