-21 Celsius today, that's -5.8 Fahrenheit for you Americans. It didn't feel that bad after I put on 3 layers of clothes. Tomorrow and the day after that it's going to be colder, like -28 Celsius.

I've been saying for the past 3 winters how it doesn't make sense to buy skis and start cross-country skiing again because there won't be any snow next year. Well it's like a fourth good winter in a row over here, and I have perfect ski trails like a half a mile from my place... Summers are getting increasingly uncomfortable over here because the temperature just keeps rising. I like winter more than summer, but fall is definitely my favorite season. Anyways, can't wait to walk to work tomorrow when it's -26.

Been insanely cold here lately, and now finally it's getting a little warmer. Will go from -23c (about -10 F) to +1c (about 34F) from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon.

it seems like with every one of these winter storms chicago (and where i live) is always right on the rain / snow line. it's uncanny.

Unless it melts by then, looks like I’ll definitely be blowing some snow at our lake place Friday afternoon. Can finally break out my heated gloves and face mask (I always end up facewashing myself when I’m blowing snow).

Yeah this just started here. We’ll see how much piles up overnight.
My sister in WI just spent 40 minutes snowblowing and only cleared half her driveway. I think she’s calling in Mr. Plow.

I had the basketball hoop in our driveway laid down on its side. It still blew into the neighbor's driveway. Crazy windy out there right now.
