You'll regret not owning the shows you attended.
Maybe, but I do own several shows that I did attend, and the best shows I attended have yet to be released in decent format: NYC '98, Randall's Island '96, Boston Garden '94.
There's great versions of the Breath campaign show. Part of the SV series, I think.
What site was that located at again? The SV series? I gotta check that out. I was at the 9/11/98 show when they finally played it. In fact, I still have the Breath sign. It's a little dirty.
BRY. The link / torrent may not be active. The Breath sign is an awesome piece of memorabilia.

Yeah, wtf? It's been, what, over 3 weeks since they released Hartford/Baltimore?
Particularly when Nugs/LiveDownloads had all three for sale for a few days already (before 10C told them to take them down).

They've been on torrent sites for two weeks now, it's mind-boggling.

Was one of those the show where Jeff walked off heated? It would be hilarious if that was the reason they arent releasing them.

I agree Yellow Moon at Brooklyn 1 was tight. Check out Yellow Moon on the Charlotte boot. Stunning. The whole Charlotte boot is really, really good. I was at the show, and while at the end of a run of 8 shows I thought it was a good show, but others that preceded it were better… Upon listening to the boots, C'ville and Charlotte sound the tightest, and Philly -> Hartford are really good, so that's saying something.

Other highlights so far (through Charlotte)…
Immortality - Hartford and Charlotte - wow!
Mother - Charlottesville
Long Road - Philly 1
Present Tense - Charlotte (nice little Mike outro solo)
RVM - Charlottesville
Go - Charlottesville
Chloe Dancer - Brooklyn 1
Pendulum - Charlottesville and Hartford
Release - Charlottesville

I gotta be honest, I just finished brooklyn 2, and I compare it to looking up a hot hooker on backpage and getting there and realizing that she bait and switched you. Everyone on the pit was saying how good it is, it's ok. Not great.

Yeah, overall, I found every show quite disappointing until Charlotte. What I've heard of New Orleans sounded pretty good too, they were obviously starting to finally lock into a groove by the, uh, final two shows of the tour. Here's hoping leg 2 is significantly better.

Beatific fanviews are rarely a reliable guide to how well the band actually performed. I was even underwhelmed by Charlottesville; the band were certainly a little more in-tune with one another than they were earlier in the leg but they still royally fuck up a number of times.

Dude, those idiots consider the 2009 Philly shows to be "gold standard". Their opinions are meaningless.

Is it worth it to buy the HD download versions of the boots? And, is it supported on iTunes? Is it an ALAC file?

I mainly just listen to music on my computer with some $25 USB speakers I bought. They aren't that great, but way better than the built-in speakers. With that in mind, I don't know if I'd even be able to hear the difference between a 256 bit rate MP3, vs. the HD version.

I'd imagine the regular FLAC (or ALAC) versions would be fine.

For what it's worth, that's what I've largely been buying. I don't have many ways of playing back 24/96 currently, only when I'm sitting at my computer basically, so the higher-resolution files seem like a waste.

The files the 10C sell are only FLAC (or MP3) but you can get Apple Lossless files via Nugs/LiveDownloads if you don't feel like doing the conversion.

Does iTunes even support HD audio? If not, I'll just go with the Apple Lossless version.

Thanks for the info.
