I'm not one to fall into the "team of destiny" type of trap, but this last week of Indians games has me believing a little bit more in them. If they make it through this next month where they don't play a team below .500 still in contention with a pitching staff that hasn't imploded then I'll be fully on board. Either way I'm having fun watching them.

I'm sure when Jack Morris got on his high horse every pitcher in the league was saying shut the fuck up.

Being "on his high horse" would have been saying "everyone does it, but I never did" or something like that. He saw what he saw as a pitcher cheating and he brought it up. But I guess if we've learned anything about cheating in baseball it's that the best way to deal with it is to close your eyes and hope it goes away.

One of the best things you can say about St Louis is that it's a great baseball town.

My fiancée and I were here for three days before we found out it's one of the most dangerous cities in America. You'd think they would put that on promotional materials!

Holy fuck me, Milwaukee. You have three potential All Stars this season and you can't buy a win? 5-20 in the last 25? Good fucking grief. What a waste.

I went to the EdVEd solo show there, stayed at the Hilton right across from the Cards stadium... was told from a few people before hand, DO NOT! go 2 blocks west of the concert venue. After the show, waiting to cross the street back to the hotel from the parking lot, so literally standing on the corner by the stadium, watched a horse drawn carriage nearly get killed by 5 illegal street racing idiots... just crazy

We saw at least two street races since we got here! One involved 15-20 motorcycles.
