just tellin' it like i see it.

pens are right at allowing 2 goals per game in their last ten which is a far cry than what they did last year

That was a frustrating game, other than the beating Kaleta got.

I didn't see the game, but I listened to most of it on the radio and it sure sounded like Boston deserved the win if it hadn't been for Reimer.

the Bs out-shot them, but too often (i'm looking at you Seguin) guys were forcing a pass instead of using the goalie for the rebound (or just seeing what happens when you put it on net). it looked to me like too many of the "shooters" on this team are looking to make a play rather than putting it on net.

I think they overpaid for both Murray and Morrow. Having said that, it's kind of the typical trade where a Stanley Cup justifies the price they paid. Still, if this is any indication of the trade deadline market, I really hope the Leafs aren't trying to add to their roster in the next week.

I thought they gave up too much for Morrow too, but who knows how Joe Morrow will pan out. I feel the same about the Islanders, I don't see the point of being buyers, even if they make the playoffs, they're not getting past the first round, no matter who they pick up at the deadline. If a team offers them a 1st round pick or high level prospect for Streit or Visnovsky, I'd probably take it.
