king of limbs was a disappointment for me as a studio product, but the from the basement sessions are really good. maybe its the mix of the studio album, i dunno.

That's a high quality list there.

I haven't thought of Last Flowers in a long time. I always read as the song as somebody getting carted off to mental hospital thinking it'll help, and they when they get there, it just makes things worse.

This would be close to my list, but I'd want to find a way to include Life in a Glass House and Punchup at a Wedding.

"4 Minute Warning" is a gorgeous old song that recalls the Bends B-Side Era, but by the time it was released on the In Rainbows deluxe, it was deconstructed into a lame arty thing, much like "Videotape". I would imagine that most people haven't noticed the beautiful song that is underneath.

That was almost impossible.

I still stand by this. It's absurd how many great songs this band has. I'd love to see them pull a Pearl Jam some day and rehearse 80-90 songs from their catalogue, and then mix them up throughout a long tour. It may never happen, though. They could easily play much longer shows than they do, though.

I'd really love to see them play "The Tourist" live some day. I missed it by a couple of shows when I saw them in 2008 and it hasn't appeared since.

My hope is that Radiohead never, ever takes cues from Pearl Jam.

I'm convinced that Pearl Jam's insistence on switching it up every night and, more importantly, making shows longer and longer is directly related to their decline in quality of their playing. Give me a tight, well rehearsed, predictable, 90 minute show over a 3 hour surprise filled slop fest.

I think Radiohead rehearse a lot more than Pearl Jam does, though. That makes a huge difference. As I've been going through this mix that I'm making I've listened to a lot of interviews, and they definitely rehearse for at least a month before each tour, and then they spend their soundchecks actually practicing instead of fucking around. I don't think they need to do 3 hour shows and mix up everything in their catalog (and I don't think there's any way in hell you could convince them to play a lot of their earlier material), but I'd love to see a lot more setlist variety.

Even in 2008, they rotated a lot more songs in and out of their sets and it didn't affect the quality of their shows. There are a decent number of songs that haven't been played in awhile I'd love to see return to sets on the next tour. I'm also curious if they'll retain the second drummer, or if they'll go back to playing the way they used to. I guess it probably depends on whatever their next album sounds like.
