- Joffery's wedding and Tyrion's vengeance this season?
I am thinking that will occur in season 4. Book 4 is kinda soft on action, so it makes sense to delay some plot points.
So I understand the point of the spoiler code. And I realize I'm a grown adult entering a forum discussing a program of which the outcome is (for the most part) already known.
However. As I believe ANYTHING revealing plot points belongs in the, completely separate-intentionally-made-for-people-who-don't-want-shit-ruined-for-them thread. The latter pre-spoiler warning would be nice.
Again, my bad. But FUCK!!!

Yeah, if haven't read the books, don't click on the Spoiler tags. Assume from this point on that if it's in Spoiler tag, that's all the warning you need. Sorry, man.

Yeah, I should have known better. I thought it was going to be snarky comment. I need a gif of the rainbow with the "the more you know" text.

telling Beric Dondarrion that "death" is your one true god is kinda admitting ignorance, no?

As far as the Theon stuff goes, I thought the nudity had a huge impact on the scene. For the first time the nudity felt extremely important. And, to my memory, there was no exposition in the scene. It was all part of the torture. This felt very different to me than the alleged "sexposition" from earlier seasons. That shit was necessary and painful to watch.
Re: Theon & next season
- Spoiler: show
- I'm wondering how they are going to handle Theon next season. Obviously, he's a great character for the show. But, they are writing a lot about this torture episode that was only vaguely hinted at in the book. And, then he kind of disappears - actually, I don't even recall him even mentioned in A Feast For Crows.
I think they'll have to take a lot of artistic license to keep some of these characters involved with the show next year. I'm guessing the night's watch battle, the red wedding, the deaths, and the viper - Mountain fight will dominate the story lines for next season.
Its hard to even see them doing A Feast For Crows with the important characters that will be missing.

I imagine books 4 and 5 will be mixed together over a season or two.

Agreed. They will, but
future episode spoilers
- Spoiler: show
- Next season is just storm of swords part two. they really won't get any new theon material until season 5. So it is curious how they handle theon. It is odd they keep showing him every episode they could have just showed him in 3 episodes being tortured each time

If Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 really wanted to torture Theon, why doesn't he just blare his music on repeat?

Not your fault. You put the spoiler code on. Like I said, it's on me.
*edit
But yes, if we could please keep major spoilers in the book thread, that would be awesome.

- I'm sure they'll splice Feast and Dance together. They won't do a whole season w/o Tyrion or Danny or Jon Snow. No way.
But, I'm with you on Theon. I'm fascinated to see where they take him over the course of next season. He almost has to take a bit of back seat, right?

C'mon guys, book thread. I'm tired of clicking on this thread expecting new discussion on the show and seeing nothing but spoilers.

Oh it was the blade that was special? Where did he get the blade? Do you otherwise have to set a white walker on fire, like John snow did? I'm a little confused abbot white walker rules.
