Indeed

so we're agreeing this will be position dependent and we have to realistically fill out a lineup. So we can't just put Jhonny Peralta in LF just to keep his bat.

Yeah, just do it as if you're making a regular roster. Positions matter.

Yeah, I think positions matter. You have to fill out a full lineup and the simulator accounts for defence.

The header post doesn't say that. In fact, it doesn't reference lineups at all. Or bullpens. It's just "position players" and "pitchers"
Yeah he could be more clear. You're going to need some bullpen arms if you want to win. I checked out the site last night and outfielders aren't designated by left center right so you can go any three outfielders regardless of actual position.

Huh... that's probably good to know.

I'd say so? I like it better that way personally.

So long men and set up guys are irrelevant for the most part?

Probably, I'd treat this for the most part like a playoff series. You'll probably want a closer and a setup guy but your starters can do the rest.

Not that any of us are going to be taking 1996 Mariano Rivera super high in this draft. That was one of his best seasons though.

That makes sense though.

Uh, I picked Joe Robbie Stadium not Pro Player Park or Pro Player Stadium or Landshark Stadium or Dolphin Stadium or Sun Life Stadium.

So group consensus as to position eligibility? Like Miggy can be your 3b or 1b, but even though he was a SS, it just doesn't make sense, right?
