I got a good chuckle out of that.
It's kind of weird a grown adult (like myself) watches pro wrestling but it's a fun break from reality. It's fun.

I could only imagine the upscale tv he watches.. I can't imagine why someone would want to watch wrestling.. it's fake, unlike sons of anarchy and the walking dead

I feel like theres no way Rollins is champion inside the next year, the MITB thing is alot different now that theres only one champ.

Crazy idea: have Reigns win the title at Royal Rumble in January, have Ambrose win the Rumble, then have Rollins cash in ahead of Wrestlemania, make it a triple threat match.

I was flipping channels the other night, and came across the last 2/3 of this match on ROH's weekly TV show...I don't watch ROH regularly, but holy shit, this was fucking awesome IMO

Sinclair broadcasting puts it on their stations, I don't think Boston gets it though...living in Maine, I get it out of Portland

they also put it up on their website for free, I think if the show airs Saturday on the Sinclair stations, it's free on the website by Monday

I've wanted to delve into ROH for a while now.

ROH is kind of hard to follow but I try and catch up on you tube. It is not as good as it use to be but it's still entertaining. Very good wrestling. Kevin Steen is badass and I hope WWE signs him when his contract is up later this summer. I think he would be a great addition and would be one of the top heels very quickly. His matches/feud he had with El Generico (Sami Zayn in NXT) were incredible to watch. I expect Michael Elgin, Adam Cole and The Briscoe Brothers to be in WWE someday as well. Maybe Jay Lethal as well. Only problem with some of them coming to the E though is they'd have to tone down their characters a bit since it's PG.

Not crazy at all. Love it. Except have Ambrose chase the title for a bit and win the title and Reigns win the Rumble. I think this is all headed toward a triple threat at some point.

I think Rollins will cash in successfully but it will be awhile. Maybe Survivor Series time. I hope he cashes in (on Cena) and still has a rematch with Cena with Rollins going over to build up his character. I dig what they are doing right now with Rollins trying to cash in and Ambrose fucking it up. I can see Rollins/Ambrose having a match FOR the briefcase at Summerslam (with Rollins winning) but Rollins and Ambrose still feuding for the rest of the year.

Reigns really should win the Rumble after how awesome he was in it last year.

After WM season, I'm back to just watching the PPV's (Oh alright, "special events").

Tag match was awesome, as usual with The Usos & the Wyatts.
Jericho's win surprised me - I figured he was here to pretty much do his "elevate the other guy" thing. Guess they're saving Wyatt's win for Summerslam.
Seriously, WWE. Pull the trigger on Sandow, please? Sandow vs Barrett for the intercontinental title would be a great & entertaining mid card feud.
Cesaro eliminated by SLATER?! Though Cesaro was booked fairly strongly, he still felt like an afterthought here. I hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
Kofi's first near escape was pretty weak, but he redeemed himself with that second one.
Miz. :shake:
Main event was solid, but nothing special. Guess they're saving Brock for RAW.

I didn't start watching the PPV until I got home from work, and since the main event was spoiled for me, I didn't even bother watching it. The battle royal was entertaining, as they usually are, but I wish they didn't telegraph Miz's win by having him enter and exit the ring more than once.

I thought that Battleground was pretty disappointing. The tag match was really good, and the womens match was decent, and that's about it. Ambrose/Rollins was the match I was most looking forward to, so it's pretty disappointing that they didnt go through with it. I had high hopes for the Bray/Jericho match and I thought that one wasnt very good. The battle royal was ok, but I wasnt a fan of the finish. The title match was pretty boring except for that little rampage Reigns went on, and I am SO sick of that same finish that they use any time Cena is involved in a match with more than 2 opponents.

Yeah, that took the drama out of it, but I like the Miz win. He's good as a cocky heel holding gold and pretty useless in every other way.

Didn't bother with the main event either and the only other match I saw was Jericho-Wyatt. I'm sure there will be a rematch and I hope they end their series with Jericho retiring.

The Miz has been on fire since he came back...in the "omg, what an easy-to-hate character" kind of way.

Toooooooo many PPVs. Ugh. Way too predictable. Summerslam could be way better. I'm intrigued by a Cena/Lesnar title match, Rollins/Ambrose for the breifcase or maybe no holds barred, Miz/Sheamus unification match, maybe Reigns/HHH, etc. I found the Rollins/Ambrose stuff very entertaining last night. Very attitude era-ish. If they give them 20-30 minutes at Summerslam they can put on a clinic. But seriously like 3 PPVs need to go away. Battleground, Hell in a Cell and TLC would be my picks for the dumpster fire. Hell in a Cell as it's own PPV makes zero sense. What if there isn't a significant rivalry? Like in 2012 when we got Punk v Ryback.

I did think the tag team title match last night was great though. I wish the Wyatt family had won but oh well. I'm wondering if HHH might make Orton/Kane try and co exist and make them go after the tag titles? R-KANE-O.

The continual burial of Cesaro and Sandow makes zero sense to me. But I hope they push Heath Slater as a face some. I'm dead serious the guy is incredibly likeable. Miz winning the Battle Royal was annoying but not a shock. Vince loves him for some reason. Also, I'm shocked Dolph keeps sticking around. He continues to get some of the biggest pops and nothing. No push at all. Makes no sense. IF Rollins cashes in successfully I think him and Dolph could have a good series. Dolph wouldn't even have to win the title but it would help him get relevant.

Jericho should retire soon by putting someone over but not at Summerslam. He deserves one more Mania. Maybe even a short run with the IC title if he wants. He is a legend. One of the best ever I think. A great way to debut Sami Zayn would be a nice 3 match series with Jericho.

Talk about someone who needs to retire it's Kane. He can barely move anymore. Love the character (at least use to) but it's been years since he has put on a good match. Like seriously 4-5 maybe.

Sandow should come out to Do the Evolution. ;)
