Must've seen that video 8 billion times back in the day. And bonus: Q-Tip!

Q Tip is my favorite rapper and I always wonder if it's partially subliminal because of this song.. It's most likely because of Get It Together, now that I think about it.. Still though, this song was first..
Matt's drum sound is incredible on these last few years of bootlegs. Whatever they did sounds amazing...

Groove Is In the Heart was one of my fav songs to play back in my DJ'ing days in college. Gotta love Bootsy Collins.
Back to the drummer debate, I was just watching a Quasi / Janet Weiss video, scroll down to the comments, and I run into a Dave A vs Matt C debate? ON A JANET WEISS VID!!!!! Janet Fucking Weiss takes them both

Can we get a poll added to this thing? You know...
Dave K
Dave A
Jack Irons [x]
Matt Cameron
Who can do shit like that? stip?

unnecessary. this was already asked in the RM census and Jack Irons won by a landslide. in part because the millenials on this board have little to no connection with the drummer that came before him; because they were in 2nd grade at the time.

I can't see Jack jumping into the crowd to save his singer.

Millennials:
- technologically savvy
- multi-taskers
- non-religious
- entitled
- believe in Jack Irons to a fault

Probably one of my favorite Q-Tip lyrics is "I'm like John Holmes, the X-rated nigga."
That shit makes me laugh even today, every time I hear it.

I actually like Matt Cameron on Better Man for some reason, that's one song where I think the changes over time suit the song.
I hate him on most everything else, especially even flow.
I wish that they did Even Flow instead of Alive at the HoF just so I could have heard it at the right tempo.

imagine if they had played 'Black' with Krusen ... peace might have spontaneously broken out in the middle east

I was just in a pizza joint, and The Who's "The Real Me" comes on, and I gotta say... the bar was kinda loud so I could only hear the bass / drums at first but knew it was the Real Me, and for a second I thought it was PJ as it really sounded like Matts drumming... So yeah, Matt and Jeff rocked that song. What does this have to do with the drummer debate? While if Matts nailing Keith Moon parts, he must be pretty damn good
