I love her. She absolutely deserved to win. She's outstanding in the film. To new, there wasn't really about legit option. So happy for her!

Olivia Colman winning is excellent; she's monumentally talented. I was also pretty surprised that this was Spike Lee's first Oscar.

Green Book? I'm sure I will see it now eventually the previews never appealed to me in the slightest.
I've only heard good things about The Favourite.
Rami was fine as Freddie Mercury but, like I said after the Globes, Best Actor?

Reading through Twitter. Wow. The wrong black film(s) won and people are losing their minds.

I expected Olivia Colman to win, but I was really surprised that Green Book won the best movie award.

A lot of people want things one way, and if they don't get it, they will complain. And even if they did get it their way (if their pick won), many would then use that to complain as well.

I haven’t seen Green Book yet, but I strongly doubt it’s worse than:

The Shape of Water
Moonlight
12 Years a Slave
Argo
The Artist
The King’s Speech

People really need to stop taking this shit seriously. The Oscars have been an anti-art joke for a very long time.
