I pay about 100 bucks a season for MLBtv to get all of the out of market games streaming. I'd pay a bit more for that if they'd stop blacking out local games and also stream MLBNetwork.

But now that I know about PS Vue I'll be dropping cable as soon as I'm contractually able to.
You have a contract w/Comcast? Pretty sure my years in MA, it was all at-will?
I'm actually not sure. I have to go back and look at what I signed up for last month.

How's PS Vue with multiple, simultaneous logins?

I think you can have up to two or three streaming at the same time. You must be in your home to access live TV unless it is through a Watch ESPN type setting.

that's a bummer. i was thinking about trying it out, but haven't heard glowing reviews at all

anyone with a good Sling experience?
I had to select a huge group of Spanish channels just to get beIN...Which is a sports channel.

It is pretty easy to use and I didn't experience any buffering.

So on Vue how much do you have to pay to get your local sports Network? In my case, csnchi.

So presumably I could be using PS Vue on a roku watching live TV in one room, while someone in the other room is using the same ps vue account to watch live tv on another roku?

Verb, I get that Chicago sports Network and Fox Sports North since they are the closest major markets. $35 a month.

Nice! We haven't looked back since making the switch in August.
Yeah its great. Once I confirmed I could get CSN New England I was sold. I can get BeIN in HD now and Fox Sports 2 which Comcast didn't offer. When I log into the Fox App on my Roku Fox Soccer Plus is even there now I thought that would cost extra. I watched a Scottish Soccer game last night. DVR works great. Couple small issues. No Nick for the kids but there are a couple private Roku channels that stream it. Its not 100% reliable and its in SD but it does the trick. Fox and ABC are OnDemand only but I don't watch those channels and I have an HD Antenna for when the NFL starts plus I'm pretty sure the Roku ESPN app shows the ABC NBA games. The TV guide on the Roku is pretty bad but through the PS3 and 4 its good. It's pretty weird I'm getting more than I was before for only $35. Just the Comcast equipment cost more than that a month. Never mind the actual cost of the channels plus regional sports fees and taxes. I'm saving a ton.

I think I'm going to hop on this train soon. Has anyone had issues with HBO streaming? I recall something about it collapsing during the Thrones premier last year.

HBO rarely has streaming problems. The app is a bit finicky sometimes, but the stream is solid.
