Do you have issues with the non powered heroes in the Marvel movies? Can Hawkeye, Black Widow or Iron Man hang with Thor and Hulk against galactic threats but Batman can't hang with Superman or is the Avengers movie the appropriate superhero realism yard stick?

Ill never get over that. Ever.
Does it count as a reboot if there's no origin story?
Why wouldn't it?
Can't keep the same actor/director/etc forever. It's another Batman movie. *shrugs* No one's claiming to restart a dead franchise.

Ive never had a problem with Cap - he commands respect from everyone, its part of his character, he doesnt have to beat the bad ass galactic threat, he just has to stand up to him to motivate the other more power super heros to come to his side and fight.
Iron Man is 50/50, his suit gives him the fire power of say Thor / Hulk, BUT, that tin can suit aint made of Adamantium Bub... and hes still taking the bumps inside the suit, he shouldnt be able to take the beatings that he does
Batman - is somewhere between the two, he commands respect but not on Caps level, and he has the smarts and gadgets to keep up on Starks level, and is generally smart enough to not punch above his weight class unlike Stark
Theres definitely a fine line there though. Independence Day always cracked me up, when Will Smith in an F-18 can outfly an alien in a space ship, once you cross that line you might as well throw everything out and just go nuts and wacky.

Y'know, when they talk about realism in Nolan's Batman Universe, they're talking about emotional reality, aren't they? I mean Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Bain are all impressively impossible individuals, only slight more credible than Superman.

It's a reboot because it doesn't share continuity with the previous films, and it effectively "restarts" the character for a new franchise.

Yes, it is somewhat stupid to have these guys associating with each other because, what can they do? When Thor is around you really don't need hawkeye. But the films handled that well by
A: having the characters acknowledge it themselves. "these guys are basically gods/it's nothing we've ever trained for"
B: relegating them to mostly supporting roles. Hawkeye and Black Widow are basically the B team doing B team work. Batman is Superman's PEER. The avengers knew that you have Thor/Hulk/Iron Man on one side (and I'm fine suspending disbelief long enough to make iron man able to hang with those two at least for a little bit), Black Widow and Hawkeye on the other, with Captain America somewhere in between (he has what is basically a magic shield and at least has some form of artificial super powers in terms of where his physique came from)
But in general I like it when people of comparable powers hang out with each other. A think Xavier and Magneto play off each other nicely because they're both immensely powerful people. But I tend to prefer underpowered heroes, which is why I enjoy watching Wolverine more than, say Thor--or batman more than superman.

I guess what I like about the Supes/Bats dynamic is they are peers despite the huge difference in powers. That a human can hang with the gods and be a indispensable piece of that team dynamic. Instead of asking Jesus to save us we save ourselves. There is kind of a beauty in after a fight all the powered people walk away fine while Batman is all fucked up but he knows he was able to hang. Like you said as long as they acknowledge that Bats is out of his depth but he *ugh* "rises" to the occasion it can be really effective story telling.

Some of my all-time favorite Batman stories have him interacting (often hilariously) with Supes. See: Tower of Babel.
