I dunno. He was so important in season one. They barely touch on him here. A scene or two saying he misses 11. You’d imagine it would be much more of that all the way through to ramp up the payoff.

Supposed to be four. Third is already planned and series creator says he’d like to see it end with four.

I'm only 3 shows in, so you guys may know stuff that I don't, but this theory was pretty cool.
Spoiler: show
For those of you who are worried about spoilers, the video was released before the season started. I'm spoilering it anyhow, in case you don't like other people planting ideas in your head.

Season 2 was delightful.

Lured by the Halloween backdrop (and 4K + HDR) of season 2, I tried to get through some more of the first season to see if it would take this time.

I just can't do it. I hate this show. All the hollow nostalgia is nauseating.

A fairly buried Star Wars reference. I didn’t catch it.

I agree. Its weird, the series is way better than its nostalgia oriented theme. Its infuriating sometimes because its good and yet they need to cram a few references to whatever movie or food the americans ate in the 80s.

It certainly doesn't explain why the show is so popular with people who weren't even born in the 20th century.

I just finished season 2. I'd love to discuss it here when enough time has passed that it doesn't all have to be spoilered. How about Monday? 9 days from the release seems reasonable.

there are nostalgia moments for sure, but this is also a period piece that is part of living memory. these are also historical details

I enjoyed season 2 a lot.
Spoiler: show
It lost some serious momentum around episode 7 with that odd story line with Elevens origin. I thought it was really forced. I really enjoyed Steven's turn from Bully to Hero.

I don’t get the complaints about nostalgia. It’s set in a certain period. It isn’t depending on that period to tell it’s story. The story could be places any time. If you’re getting taken out by the period setting you’re missing the story.
