For a while, Buckethead also kept a TV monitor in his coop that streamed constant hardcore porn, an affectation that reportedly offended Axl far more than the lingering wolf poop fumes.

From what I've heard from a reliable source, Buckethead basically asked for all of that shit as a way to fuck with Axl to see how far Axl would go to appease him. He never expected half of that shit to actually be done. By the end of his time in the band he couldn't wait to get the fuck out of there, basically said that all of the stories about Axl are true.

You guys think it's too soon for Duff and Slash to be joined onstage by a Scott Weiland hologram for a Velvet Revolver reunion at Coachella?

Yeah, that guy's gonna be really disappointed.

Maybe Axl should sell the GnR rights to Disney.

Through all your years of reporting on bands, what’s the best roadie story you’ve heard?

I heard some roadies talking about how something had to be “yellow-jacketed” and I [asked] “What is yellow-jacketing?” They said, “There was a guy that worked with Guns N’ Roses, and there was a show and Axl Rose needed a yellow jacket that he’d left in England before he would perform. So a roadie was given the job to get on a plane as fast as possible, go to London, find Axl Rose’s yellow jacket, and come back so he could play the show.” The best part about that story is not that somebody had to go get a yellow jacket for Axl Rose, but that it became such lore among other roadies that it became a verb — to yellow-jacket.

Thats a good one. I cant blame the guy for being an asshole if everyone keeps doing those sort of stuff.

This story actually makes me feel some degree of sympathy for Axl.

How would you rate The Spaghetti Incident? and Chinese Democracy?
Lol. Umm. I love their cover of Human Being and i think the video for "Since I dont have you" gave me one of my first boners. Chinese Democracy sucks except I can listen to Madagascar, Better and the outro for There Was A Time.
I really, really like the hidden cover of Charles Manson's "Look At Your Game, Girl," on The Spaghetti Incident. I think it's the best thing they did post-UYI. Buick McKane is fun too, if you can just lose yourself to it.
My mother almost made me return the cd when she found out that cover was on there. Was so strange she decided to get upset about that considering everything else she allowed me to listen to.
I have a crystal-clear memory of my dad hearing Baby Got Back, which I had recently purchased. The "anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hun" line really upset him, and he said to me:

"Alex, do you understand what he's saying here? He's basically saying 'my penis does not want you unless you have a nice butt.' "
Off topic, but I found it interesting that the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks movie (saw over the holidays in the theater with my 3 yo son) includes this:

So, it's basically a kids song now. Oh, how times have changed....

Care to guess how much GA tickets for the GNR tour cost from Ticketmaster? Don't cheat! (I'm using the Foxborough show as my benchmark)

Are they really going to sell out 65,000-seat stadiums?
