More awkwardly, a former Atom Waffen member converted to Islam and then murdered his two roomates for disrespecting Islam. Hradzka's position on this is that garbage people that tend to be attracted to radicalism are quite flexible in their ideology.

No surprise, but my experience down at the Portland riots were quite different than what was being reported.
-Antifa was unquestionably more violent. In fact, I didn't see anyone else instigate anything. And in between calling the cops nazis, they were attacking anyone with an American flag or who was alone (I was in a black t-shirt, so I could move between both groups pretty easily. It was actually pretty easy to move around.)
-I just missed most of the tear gas and such. The cops were firing off rounds as I was walking up the hill.
-It was also interesting to note that the numbers were roughly equal, despite being in Portland. Though both groups were dwarfed by onlookers like me and people taking a stroll in the park.
-there was probably more racial diversity with the right wingers, lol. but this is Portland, after all.
-Weirdest thing was this hispanic looking guy with a white power tattoo who wasn't with the others got slapped by some antifa dude, then he took his pants off. Then he wandered off.
-The cops didn't do anything if someone was getting attacked. They were just there to make sure the two main groups were separated. If you were out on your own, you were fucked.
-right wingers had more fat dudes, but the left wingers seldom weighed more than a hundred pounds. I dont know who wins this battle.
-I enjoyed the costumes of both sides.
-mostly it was a lot of nothing.

The NPR piece sort of touches on this, saying that the alt-right are intentionally planning demonstrations in those places where they expect they'll meet a high level of resistance. Granted, the guy doing the reporting doesn't say anything explicitly about Antifa being "violent," but that's the implication anyway
Yeah I'm sure that's what they are doing. I get the feeling that this happens so much here lately that most people are losing interest. Only the biggest idiots show up. Which is probably for the best. Ignoring it is probably a better solution.

Heh some guy yelled "Go back to fucking Vancouver!" to the crowd. I thought about telling him I lived there and that was very rude, but then I remembered Vancouver sucks.
