Lightning Bolt is all taint but Backspacer is more chode.

Backspacer is a good album, with a few songs i dont really care to listen anymore (Just Breathe, UK, The End) while LB was the first PJ i was not surprised at all with what i got and has a horrible production.

Supersonic would be my favourite song while being spitroasted in Hell

As much as Supersonic sucks i'd take it any day of the week over Let The Records Play or Future Days.

yeah, agree

i mostly dont care for Supersonic because its featured on a short album, but if the song was released as a b side it would have been different i guess.

supersonic is the only song between those two albums I dont like (though it has a good solo. I dont like those really bright songs that much). My combo backspacer/lightning bolt would be about 20 songs long. There arent a ton of classics (which is at least in part because they arent enjoyed sufficiently among the fandom or played enough by the band to reach that status), but if I start one Im happy the whole way through

Infallible, Just Breathe, and The End are in strange places. On a good listen/right moment they rank much higher, but they arent songs I reach for in a casual
moment. Part of my thought process here was the probability of skipping (and Id still put all 3 songs at a 3.5 of 5)

Dishonorable mention to Ole and Cant Deny Me - two of the worst b-sides. though i dont like get it back either. that well really dried up after Riot Act
