interesting pick for the one pj song he chose to play

also.. almost 30 years in the band and he still talks like he's sitting in with them
around 42:40 he mentions playing the songs too fast.

That was uploaded to the official Pinkpop channel last month and then the fan-friendly management hammer came down.

That was probably the best version we have right?
Lyric monitors might deduct a tiny bit visually, but they’re a lifesaver for the audio.

Funny to come back to this comment in light of what we now know.

I presume Matt had already left the band (though not publicly) when this was filmed, which could place some further context around his comments, i.e. he pretty much exclusively refers to the band as something separate to him (a lot of 'they', not 'we').

What's the going way of doing this nowadays without contracting herpes.exe? Every method I use seems to get headed off at the pass.

All the free online downloaders I know of usually top off at 720p... Anything above it comes up with no audio.

Man alive. No slight to matt at all but watching that video again after all these years....kind of forgot how fucking hard/intense he used to play. Clearly, over time, he pulled back considerably obviously to maintain is well being/aging.

But damn, playing his ass off back then.

Perhaps a new drummer will spice things up.
